Nigerian forward Victor Boniface is undergoing another round of medical examinations in Milan today as part of his highly anticipated move to AC Milan, according to Italian reports. The 24-year-old star began his medicals on Friday, August 22, completing initial tests at the club’s facilities and undergoing mandatory CONI (Italian Olympic Committee) checks before moving to the Galeazzi Hospital for further evaluations.
Interestingly, Milan reportedly recalled their top orthopaedic surgeon from vacation to personally supervise the process, considering Boniface’s past injury struggles. The striker, who previously battled ACL injuries in 2019 and 2020, also dealt with muscular issues at Bayer Leverkusen.
Despite the setbacks, Boniface impressed last season, netting 11 goals and recording 2 assists in 27 matches across all competitions. Fans are buzzing as his dream Serie A move inches closer!
