The United States has sent out a serious alert to all international students, especially Nigerians, about the strict consequences of violating student visa rules.
According to a statement shared via the US Mission in Nigeria’s official X (Twitter) page on Monday, August 4, students who drop out, skip classes, or leave their study programs without officially informing their schools risk immediate visa revocation and may lose eligibility for future US visas.
The US government is urging students to stay in good academic standing, adhere strictly to visa terms, and keep their schools updated about any changes to avoid immigration trouble.
This is a serious wake-up call for anyone studying or planning to study in the US!
