In a shocking twist fit for a movie plot, Keanu Reeves’ stolen John Wick-themed Rolex has finally been recovered after a major international sting operation targeting a celebrity burglary ring. The Hollywood legend was not at home in 2023 when a gang of masked intruders broke into his Los Angeles mansion, making off with valuables — including a $10,000 Rolex engraved with the words: “2021, JW4, thank you, The John Wick Five.”
The luxury watch, which Reeves had gifted to crew members after filming John Wick: Chapter 4, was one of six recovered in Santiago, Chile during a massive takedown coordinated by Chilean police and the FBI. The gang behind the heist had also reportedly targeted NFL star Travis Kelce and stole high-end items like designer handbags, iPhones, and even cars.
Officials have since returned over $125,000 worth of jewelry to U.S. authorities for proper handover to victims.
Despite tight security, the break-in deeply rattled Reeves, especially after a firearm was also reported missing. The incident wasn’t his first — back in 2014, his Hollywood Hills estate was the scene of two separate intrusions, including one by a woman who stripped and jumped in his pool, and another involving a delusional stalker who left a DNA testing kit, claiming to be related to him.
Reeves has since taken legal and security measures, but the events highlight ongoing concerns about celebrity safety — even for someone as low-key as Keanu.
