In a major crackdown, the EFCC has successfully secured the conviction and sentencing of 15 Chinese nationals in Lagos for crimes linked to cyberterrorism and internet fraud!
According to the EFCC, the suspects were prosecuted by the Lagos Zonal Directorate 1 before two Federal High Court judges — Justice Ayokunle Faji and Justice Dehinde Dipeolu — both sitting in Ikoyi.
The convicts, including names like Ling Yang, Xiao Hong Will, and Wang Jia Qi, were charged separately for cyber-related offenses that have rocked digital security in Nigeria.
This latest judgment comes just weeks after 14 other Chinese nationals were sentenced for similar crimes, sparking massive public reactions across social media. The EFCC is clearly not backing down in the war against digital fraud!
