Nigerian music powerhouses Shallipopi and Davido lit up the stage on the opening night of the highly anticipated 2025 Afro Nation Festival in Portimão, Portugal — and the energy was nothing short of electric! The dynamic duo brought serious fire to kick off the three-day global celebration of African music and culture.
Shallipopi stole hearts as he invited his siblings and fellow artists to join him on stage during his hit track “Lahoo,” leaving the crowd screaming for more. Meanwhile, Davido—aka OBO—reminded fans why he’s Africa’s number one, performing a hit-packed set with songs like “Fall,” “If,” “Dami Duro,” and “Fia,” closing the night with unmatched energy.

The festival continues with Tems taking the stage on Thursday, while Burna Boy, Kamo Mphela, Booba, and Dexta Daps are set to wrap things up on Friday.
