Nollywood actress and producer Ruth Kadiri has finally opened up about her decision to keep her marriage away from the public eye — and according to her, it’s been one of the best choices she’s ever made.
Speaking on the Dear Ife series with Ifedayo Agoro, the talented mother of two explained that maintaining privacy has helped her stay grounded and fully in control of her relationship. “It has helped me define my relationship without external interference,” she said.
Kadiri added that her husband enjoys a pressure-free life because most people don’t know him. “He’s not a secret, he’s just private,” she clarified. “We go to church and attend events together. He’s present, but not loud.”
She also shared that her husband prefers to stay off the spotlight, even keeping his social media page focused only on faith-based posts.
Touching on the pressure celebrity marriages face, Kadiri expressed gratitude for having at least one aspect of her life she can protect.
