In a jaw-dropping turn of events, a federal judge has rejected R. Kelly’s emergency plea for home confinement despite explosive claims that the R&B singer is the target of an assassination plot behind bars.

According to court filings, Kelly’s legal team alleged that prison officials orchestrated an attempted hit, offering another inmate — identified as terminally ill Mikeal Glenn Stine — freedom in exchange for killing the embattled star. The claim adds a chilling twist to Kelly’s ongoing legal drama.

Kelly, serving a 30-year sentence for racketeering and sex trafficking at FCI Butner in North Carolina, was also reportedly hospitalized due to an alleged overdose administered by prison staff. Despite this, the court — led by U.S. District Judge Martha Pacold — dismissed the motion, stating she lacked jurisdiction.

Prosecutors fired back, labeling the claims “deeply unserious and theatrical” and an insult to the severity of his crimes. Meanwhile, Kelly’s lawyer insists the singer’s life is at risk, citing solitary confinement and forced hospital discharge against medical advice.

As legal chaos unfolds, his attorney now seeks a presidential pardon for the disgraced artist. The Bureau of Prisons has remained silent on the case, refusing to confirm or deny the claims.

Is this justice delayed or a desperate distraction? Only time will tell.
