Controversial media personality Daddy Freeze has opened up like never before, revealing how his bold stance against Nigerian pastors cost him everything. In a heartfelt conversation with entrepreneur Stephen Akintayo, Freeze didn’t sugarcoat the fallout of speaking out.
“When I came after Nigerian pastors, I lost 100% of my business,” he confessed. “I lost everything. It all disappeared.”
He also recounted a gut-wrenching story of religious discrimination, where a young Muslim man was denied a job — and tragically lost his life hours later in a building collapse. Freeze used the story to highlight the urgent need for religious tolerance in Nigeria.
“Muslims are more willing to work with Christians than the other way around,” he said, urging Nigerians to break down walls of division.
Freeze also revisited his divorce drama, addressing past allegations of domestic violence. In a rare moment of honesty, he admitted: “We used to fight, and sometimes it got physical.”
He criticized societal norms, adding, “In Nigeria, you can’t just say ‘the marriage didn’t work.’ You must be painted as the villain.”
