The ex-Governor of Anambra State boldly stated that none of Nigeria’s current presidential hopefuls can match his unique background, leadership experience, or financial integrity.
“I’m not just another politician,” Obi said. “I’ve built a business from scratch, transformed a small bank into a N25 billion institution, worked in the corporate world, and served as a governor — all with a clean record. Nobody has my combination of real-world experience.”
He also emphasized his financial discipline, proudly noting he left Anambra State without owing salaries, debts, or collecting pensions. “Since leaving office, I’ve never taken a dime from the state. Not even a bottle of water,” Obi said, daring authorities to seize any land allegedly allocated to him.
