Popular Nigerian content creator, Rico, had a terrifying brush with death today after the POP (Plaster of Paris) ceiling in his apartment suddenly collapsed on him.
In a video shared online by Nollywood actor Charles Okocha, a visibly injured Rico is seen crying out in pain, screaming “My leg, my leg” as he lay beneath the heavy rubble.
The dramatic footage captured the urgency of the moment as Charles and others desperately worked to lift the debris and rescue Rico. He was immediately rushed to the hospital for urgent medical attention. Fans and fellow creators have since flooded social media with prayers and well-wishes, thankful that the situation didn’t turn fatal.
This incident serves as a wake-up call about building safety and maintenance issues in many Nigerian homes.
