American rapper Young Thug has sparked major controversy after publicly calling Kid Cudi a “rat” for testifying against Sean “Diddy” Combs in the ongoing high-profile sex trafficking trial.
Kid Cudi took the stand, revealing shocking details about a violent incident in December 2011, where he claimed Diddy broke into his home, injured his dog, and set fire to his car. According to Cudi, this turmoil was connected to his brief relationship with Cassie, which happened during her split from Diddy.
Cudi described how he found his security cameras disabled, Christmas gifts disturbed, and his dog locked away, visibly shaken by the ordeal. He also filed police reports following the attack and the Molotov cocktail thrown at his car. Despite the tension, Cudi stated he and Diddy eventually met and made peace.
Young Thug’s reaction came via a now-deleted post on X (formerly Twitter), bluntly calling Cudi a “rat,” signaling his disapproval of the testimony. Adding more intrigue, Young Thug’s lawyer, Brian Steel, is also part of Diddy’s legal defense team, intensifying the drama.
