It was a night of emotions and glamour as Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe was moved to tears during the star-studded premiere of the highly anticipated film, “My Mother Is A Witch,” held on Sunday night, May 17.
The emotional moment came when the film’s producer, the talented Efe Irele, surprised Mercy with a beautiful bouquet of flowers moments after the screening.
Caught completely off guard, Mercy’s reaction was raw and heartfelt, and she later took to social media to share the touching experience. “This was tonight’s highlight for me. When your producer gives you flowers right after the premiere of her movie, you will know you did something right,” she captioned the video clip.
Overflowing with gratitude, the actress praised Efe Irele for her creative brilliance and dedication, while also giving a special shout-out to the film’s director and writer, Niyi Akinmolayan, for his masterful storytelling.
