Nigerian actress and filmmaker Mary Gold has spilled more shocking details about the ongoing scandal involving comedian Baba Tee, Dara—estranged wife of skit maker Ijoba Lande, and her business partner, Makash. In a new interview on Situation Room, Mary didn’t hold back as she recounted a disturbing incident that allegedly happened right under her roof.
According to Mary, her mother caught Dara and Makash unclad in her room, a revelation that left her heartbroken and betrayed. “That morning, my mum saw them… naked in my room. I wasn’t even home. It broke my heart,” she said emotionally.
Mary revealed Dara came over pretending to feel sick, and she even called a nurse to help. The nurse later disclosed she treated Dara for an infection, raising red flags for Mary.
Addressing allegations that she set Dara up with Baba Tee, Mary explained that the visit was unplanned. She said Baba Tee invited her out, and she didn’t inform him she was bringing anyone along. “People think I planned this, but I didn’t. Dara even begged me not to tell anyone she was married,” she stated.
Mary added that Baba Tee left her his car to buy drinks, and that’s when Dara stayed behind—fueling more speculation. Despite the drama, she said the situation brought unexpected attention, including a growing fanbase and new endorsement deals.
She wrapped up by insisting, “I’m not the villain. I’ve been telling my truth from the start.”
