Dkoko Pee, a close associate of embattled social media activist VeryDarkMan (VDM), has spoken out again following the controversial arrest of his friend. According to reports, VDM was taken into custody on May 2, shortly after he accompanied his mother to a Guaranty Trust Bank (GTBank) branch to dispute suspicious deductions from her account—allegedly from a loan she never applied for.

Although GTBank later released CCTV footage showing VDM calmly exiting the bank and walking toward the parking lot just before he was picked up by operatives, the move has done little to quell public suspicion. Many Nigerians still question the bank’s involvement and demand clarity over the circumstances leading to his detention.

In a new video posted online, Dkoko Pee made a passionate appeal to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), urging them to break their silence and release an official statement detailing the reasons behind VDM’s arrest. He stressed the importance of transparency, especially in cases involving public figures and issues that touch on civil rights and financial accountability.

The call for answers continues to grow louder across social media platforms.

In the video, Dkokopee said:

“Why are we not seeing the official report, you’ve have held him down in Abuja here for no reason. Whatever his offense is is bailab. It is an injustice to all of us, no matter what happens , we all have a say. Come out and tell us what he has done.”
