A horrifying incident has shaken residents of Brandfort, Free State, South Africa, as a 34-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly beating his 38-year-old girlfriend to death over cheating accusations. The brutal attack reportedly occurred in the early hours of Sunday, April 6, at a residence in Nonzamo Park.
According to Sgt Palesa Thabane, police responded to a distress call around 2:45 a.m. Upon arriving at the scene, officers were met with a tragic discovery—the woman’s lifeless body was found lying in a pool of blood on the bedroom floor. She had sustained severe injuries to her upper body and face.
Initial investigations suggest that the victim was repeatedly assaulted with a wooden stick by her boyfriend, who accused her of being unfaithful. The bloodied weapon was recovered at the scene and has been taken as evidence.
