Comedian and activist Adebowale “Debo” Adedayo, popularly known as Mr. Macaroni, has reaffirmed his decision to ignore Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu in any future encounters.
In 2023, Mr. Macaroni publicly avoided greeting the governor at an event, a moment captured on camera. He has since faced criticism and pressure to acknowledge Sanwo-Olu, but he remains firm in his stance.
Taking to X, Mr. Macaroni declared that he will not be forced to greet or engage with the governor, emphasizing his right to personal choice. He reiterated that if they meet again, he will maintain his position and continue to refrain from greeting him.

“This is the last time I will address this matter.
It is not worth my peace of mind.
Since you people won’t stop attacking me because I didn’t greet Governor Sanwoolu, next time I see him, I still won’t greet him. And this time, even if he calls me I won’t answer.
You people will cry today, tomorrow and forever!”
