Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Tiwa Savage, and Nissi Ogulu honored at 2025 Forbes Women Africa Awards

Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Tiwa Savage, Nissi Ogulu, Hephzibah Akinwale, and Eniola Shokunbi were honored at the 10th Forbes Women Africa Awards during the Forbes Women Africa Leading Women Summit in South Africa. Themed “To The Power of 10:
The Rule-Breakers In Africa’s Next Chapter,” the event celebrated influential women across various sectors.

Okonjo-Iweala received the Lifetime Achievement Award, Savage was named Media Icon, Ogulu earned the Youth Icon Award, Akinwale won the Next Generation Award, and Shokunbi was recognized as a Young Achiever.

The summit, an annual gathering of women leaders in business, politics, arts, and civil society, also commemorated International Women’s Day, reinforcing the impact of female pioneers in Africa and beyond.
