A new conflict appears to be unfolding between social media critic Martins Otse, known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), and comedian Freedom Atsepoyi, popularly called Mr Jollof.
The two previously clashed after VDM alleged that Jollof’s wife had ties to Yahoo boys. During their heated exchange, VDM shared a viral video requesting safety after Jollof and his wife included his home address in a petition.
While many thought the feud had ended, VDM, now in China, reignited the controversy by posting a screenshot of Jollof’s tweet, where Jollof claimed VDM apologized to his wife. VDM denied the claim, insisting he never apologized and challenged Jollof to provide proof.
“I can never beg your wife and bring out the evidence that me begging you and your wife if it’s true,” he said in the video.
VDM mentioned that his lawyer had a good relationship with Jollof’s wife, who attempted to mediate their conflict amicably, but he refused. He also recalled an encounter at an event where Jollof allegedly avoided making eye contact with him.
“Now be honest with your self,could you look me in the eye (John weak),” VDM wrote in a caption as he boldly tagged Jollof to the video.
